Actually Kintamani village is a village located at the edge of a mountain caldera. Many years ago, a big- high mount erupted and make a big caldera which know as Lake Batur nowadays. You can imagine how big the caldera should be if an independent lake and mount could be exist inside. When you are standing at Penelokan village, it means that you are at the edge of the caldera. From here you can see the Mount Batur and Lake Batur as the main content of the caldera. The view is really fascinating. Don’t miss it from your camera focus.
